Stratasys Genisys xs 3d printer Rebuild
A old cartridge based 3d printer was donated to the shop in near perfect condition. only problem was that it was so out of date that the system wasn't even close to what we have today. But the frame and body was build way overkill. solid aluminum structure with a steel body and belt driven system. Also it cost $70,000 when it was first purchased 15 years ago. But with a simple ramps board and a few tweaks it prints better then any commercial printer i have seen. The supports

Silent air compressor build
Needed a silent compressor for light airbrushing in my apartment but any compressor i found is incredibly loud. Found instructions online to combine a fridge compressor and a tank from a damaged air compressor. Cut off switch and intake tube mounted sideways to make room for the plate. All the holes are marked out and drilled and test for height of hoses. Compressor itself had only copper tubes so had to find connectors that fit over these. Also left the current oil inside si

Apartment Conversion
Been offline for a long time and renovation my apartment so I could be more organized in my projects. First up is the important project shelf. Thought of using simple cheap serving trays to keep my projects organized and easy to move around to a large table. Need to find a better picture but I took my large old shelf and removed the sections of shelving. Then layed them flat into the back of the shelf and screwed into them from the sides to add strength and a backing for the

The wire location works great for the usb charger slot. lamp Completed and has been r

Just repeat until its at a level your comfortable with. once its all dried hit it

Mega Prusa I3 to Core XY Conversion
I had originally build a mega prusa i3 but being so large the bed just shakes the table and produced horrible prints. I had found the same person that designed the prusa moved onto this larger more stable version. I am taking his design and changing it so its a swap with the parts to save money as well as this will make this printer incredibly large, stable, fast and hope to have a dual extrusion installed. As you can see with my printer it is very large but I have only tried

Pandora I-Box
New build of a ipod in a box but with a polymer clay monster in the box. First off I used a piece of thin metal and traced out the ipod window and wheel then begun putting a thin layer of polymer clay around the outline. I added a larger amount where I was putting the eyes, and a rim around the wheel area as well little veins for fun. Roll a thin layer of clay for the eyeballs, bottom first. With the teeth push in and out to get the gum effect. After baking and glazing the te

UPDATE: listed on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/398101555/custom-raspberry-pi-nintendo-retropie(SOLD) Fitting a Raspberry pi into a nintendo shell while keeping the look of the original front and hidden wires.
